Thanks to my wife Eni who has spent many years working on our Brooklyn garden. It has reached a level of beauty and maturity that is incredible. We started working on the garden when the pandemic hit and it is amazing to see how far it has come.

I have managed to get the famous Canadian photographer and printer, Bob Carnie and his assistant to venture on down to NYC to give a Tri-Color Gum over Palladium and Silver Gelatin Fiber from digital negatives. This is a rare opportunity to work with Bob and take advantage of his 40+ years of experience.

Two Tricycles

It has been a while since I have posted and it is for good reason. My wife, Eni and I had a baby girl 4 months ago. Her name is Andrea and I melt every time she smiles. I will not be posting photos of her online. She is young and I don’t think she needs to be shown on social media. Instead of pictures of her, I am posting a photo that has been inspired by her. This is a Sepia and Selenium toned Silver Gelatin print I made. It is 20x16 paper size with a 18x14 inch image size that I am selling it for half price to celebrate the birth of my daughter. There are only 5 prints and an artist proof. The artist proof is already gone. A big shout out to who gave me great advice on printing silver gelatin negatives.

Journal of the Plague Years - Lost Childhood

This is a first in a new series I have been working on over the pandemic about how I think me and many other people have felt over the last two years. These are being printed as Photogravures and I will put the actual prints up soon.

About the work:
The world has gone mad the last couple of years. So much information, everyone has become a doctor, a scientist and a reporter at the same time. People are confused and working through their own emotions of what the pandemic means to them. How to deal with the isolation and the uncertainty of what comes next. Food and housing insecurity affecting so many, while others make their fortunes. The world will never be the same.

My motive in creating this series is to portray how I felt personally and how I dealt with the last couple of years. The conflicts with friends and family, my own personal conflicts. The constant bombardment of information right and wrong.

Like many artists during this period we used this time to hold the mirror up to our face and the face of society. What do we see, what will other see in this mirror. Many people have reconsidered what it means to live life and say “Memento Mori” - Life is short, enjoy it while you can.

Journal of the Plague Years - Missing

This is a first in a new series I have been working on over the pandemic about how I think me and many other people have felt over the last two years. Thanks to .sabu for standing in for me. I wanted to do it as a series of self portraits but I don't think it would have come out as well as I wanted. These are being printed as Photogravures and I will put the actual prints up soon.
