A little backstory -
⠀
This was a beach in Positano. (Their lemons are massive!) Most of the people on the beach were around this woman's age. But something about her vibe had me hoping to reach 60+ embracing my short all white afro, tanned, in a tropical bikini with the straps dangling to the side on a beach in a foreign country. Here is an Italian woman just emerged from the Tyrrhenian Sea on 35mm film.

Artist Relief Print Sale -
We all know by now that a lot of us artists and service industry folks have been out of work because of COVID and lockdown - being forced to find creative ways to make some kind of income (if possible). BKC and Seeing Collective’s Artist Relief print sale is a platform helping a good number of us photogs and artists sell prints with a very small team (isolated in their own homes) making it all possible. This is my first time selling any of my photography. That in itself is very exciting to me; and even if I don’t sell one single print, it makes me happy to see my work on the site. A little backstory -
Jan. 2018, I made a quick stop in Paris to shoot a music tour show. The day of I decided to go to Le Louvre. I’d been to Pairs a few times before but never visited the infamous museum. Despite wandering through all it’s vastness for a couple hours, I still wasn’t able to see everything. But these ladies caught my eye. Understandably so... Here are Charites, The Three Graces, goddesses of charm, beauty, and creativity, on 35mm film.
