A Blue Super Moon rising. Unfortunately, the Sloan Mountain range to our east delays our view of the moonrise by at least 40 minutes. So the moon is not at its largest as it crests Black Mountain.

Looking north from Lee Canyon in the Spring Mountains. The temperature rose to 106°F in the Las Vegas Valley, but the temperature was only 61°F up here at 8,500 ft (msl). Amazing that it's only an hour drive from the Vegas Strip.
