Extraordinary is the very basic compliment to a place like this. Hard to believe this does exist on our planet. Zabriskie Point in Death Valley is worth visiting multiple times as it is painted by the sunlight and looks different every minute.

There is something of scale and perspective in the remaining imperial capitals of the world. London is not an exception. You will get a sense of the city while roaming the streets, but only from above you can recognise its raw charisma. Founded by the Romans about 2000 years ago it remains utterly cosmopolitan ever since.

While travelling across Alaska, you’ll certainly notice that sense of space and freedom. For me nothing illustrates this feeling better than a seaplane. In many cases the only way to reach remote destinations. There are 400+ public airports in Alaska, not to mention hundreds of seaplane bases and other landing areas. Basically, any water surface or actually any flat surface can be used for take off and landing... isn’t it freedom?

You can roam for days and weeks on this island. Historical clan battles, dramatic landscape, breathtaking views, extraordinary clouds – this is the Isle of Skye in Scotland. To reach Sgúrr an Fheadain you have to walk along the Vikisgill Burn and pass the Fairy Pools, starting from the Loch Harport just off the road B8009.

That was a quick visit. I had only a couple hours in the city though enjoyed the stroll along the canal. Centuries and époques mixed together in a relaxing way. You should definitely add Birmingham to your next English trip.

Would you like to stay at the castle instead of a B&B? At least you can have a proper meal there... Still sounds a bit too posh? Ok, just have a walk then. I like to imagine how the owners and their guests may have acted, what they discussed, what was on their mind... Ashford Castle gives you plenty of opportunities to have great time enjoying the garden by the lake or splendid interiors. Founded in 1228 it has been rebuilt multiple times, and that were exactly these changes that contributed to its distinctive look.

Friday feeling was in the air. I do not actually remember if it was Friday, but it certainly felt this way. Buenos Aires like a living being is unique and amazingly colourful, provoking your curiosity and tempting senses. Tango and music are always around, on street and at home.

Sometimes even a beaten path can look extraordinary. Even if you have no camera with you, thanks to Apple mobiles phones are quite capable of taking great pictures nowadays. Glendalough Valley offers a number of beautiful views year round regardless of the weather, though dramatic clouds make this scenery absolutely stunning.
P.S. What appears to be a double track left by cars are actually an old and a new path running together...

They stand strong and they represent the will and the power. Usually they have a story and many of them are a history themselves. Castles are indispensable from Scotland and here is one of them. Established by Sir Duncan on the shores of Loch Fyne six centuries ago, rebuilt from scratch between 1746 and 1789, suffered from fire in 1877, got a third floor and conical roofs on the corner towers. Inverary Castle remains the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll, Chief of the Clan Campbell.
