Originally from the Boston area, I relocated to Raleigh in 2012, where I currently reside with my wife, Lindsay, and son, Eric. Before settling in the Triangle region, I had the opportunity to live in San Francisco and Nashville. What captivates me about the Triangle is its vibrant growth and energy, which I enjoy capturing through photography at local events and parks. My interest in photography

traces back to high school, where I took photography courses and played a role in designing our school yearbook. Five years ago, my passion for photography was rekindled when my mother gifted me a DSLR camera. Since then, I have found joy in capturing portraits, landscapes, and travel moments. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, my photography services primarily cater to the Triangle area. Specializing in family and portrait photography, my approach focuses on creating a comfortable and relaxed environment during sessions, allowing individuals to express their genuine selves and emotions through their portraits.

New Stayin’ Alive exhibit at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences does not disappoint. TIL that nature is basically one giant arms race. Animals have evolved wild weapons, tactics, and strategies just to survive. The natural world is ruthless and honestly, I’m a little shocked by it. Love having a membership for exactly this.

🍀☘️ Spent yesterday at the Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade with the Oak City Camera Club and had so much fun. Kilts, bagpipes, roller derby, the Triangle Pride Band, the Raleigh Fairy, flower children, and honestly so many dogs. Raleigh really knows how to celebrate. Can’t wait to share more shots from the day! 📸

Tonight we went to the Chinese Lantern Festival at Koka Booth Amphitheater in Cary. Lindsay’s aunt gifted us tickets for Christmas, so the whole family got to go together. We wandered through all the luminaries, watched the performances, and sipped hot cocoa. The kids went all in on the games, the disco dance floor, light-up swings, bubbles, and spontaneous dance parties. A really nice way to wrap up the holiday break.

Interesting night. New Year’s Eve at First Night Raleigh. Fireworks in the sky, a ride on the Ferris Wheel, dancing at the silent disco. Not a perfect night. We had a run in with some random crazy person, but we bounced back and it was definitely memorable.

Timeless holiday portraits with a little sparkle ✨
From the fountain to the gazebo, and quiet moments with mom and dad, this session was all about connection and warmth.
Perfect moments to share with friends and family this Christmas.

All the cozy holiday details in one session 🎄
A holly bush for a touch of Christmas cheer, sweet moments in the gazebo, and one of my favorite shots where the arch and joined hands form a heart.
These are the kinds of moments that make Christmas cards feel extra special.

Christmas card magic starts with a little luck 🎄🍁
We found one last Japanese maple still glowing red, and it couldn’t have been a better backdrop.
Coordinated outfits, rich holiday colors, and a setting that tied it all together made this set feel classic, joyful, and ready for the mantle.

A classic Christmas setting and a beautiful Raleigh winter day made this session at Historic Oak View Park one to remember. We photographed the family on the front steps, using festive holiday props like a lantern, candy cane, bell, and holly wreath that John and Joseph had a lot of fun with. We also captured a few favorites under the glowing yellow ginkgo tree and near the fir trees, which gave everything a perfect holiday feel. Heloisa Portela and Nathan brought such a warm, relaxed energy to the session.

Christmas sessions like this one are why I love shooting at Historic Oak View Park. Heloisa Portela, Nathan, John, and Joseph brought all the holiday spirit with perfectly coordinated outfits in black, green, and red. The rustic barn, gazebo, and garden paths made the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and meaningful family session. We captured a mix of full family moments and sweet one on one shots with each of their parents and their boys on a beautiful Raleigh winter day.

A few more favorites from this Christmas session with Danielle and Ava. Ava was full of curiosity and personality. Tossing ginkgo leaves into the air, dancing around the porch, and flashing the biggest smile while rocking in the chair by the pine trees. Like most 2 year olds, we had a few tears along the way, but a quick wagon ride turned everything right around and gave us even more genuine smiles.

A little Christmas magic at Historic Oak View Park. 🎄

Danielle and her sweet 2 year old daughter Ava were an absolute joy to photograph. The rustic barns, golden ginkgo leaves, and late fall light created the perfect backdrop for this festive session. Danielle and Ava came dressed in their Christmas best, and Ava truly stole the show. From ringing bells to exploring the decorations, she looked like a little angel in her white dress.

These are the kinds of sessions I love most. Simple, playful, and full of genuine moments that feel like the holidays.
