Aspen Wedding at The Sundeck at The Little Nell, featured in Rocky Mountain Bride 🩵

Some weddings deserve a details-only post, and this Aspen, Colorado celebration at The Little Nell is one of them! A mountaintop ceremony at The Sundeck at the top of Aspen Mountain, followed by a reception at Pine Creek Cookhouse, and every single detail in between was designed within an inch of its life, in the best way.

The fresh fruit deserves its own mention. Grapefruits, peaches and pears worked into every place setting, tucked between the florals. Add in chamomile and cosmos wildflower centerpieces, indigo batik napkins against gingham, a rainbow envelope seating chart telling guests to find your seat, and long mountaintop tables looking straight out at the Elk Mountains, and Rocky Mountain Bride agreed this one deserved a feature!

Brynja & Zach said I do at Boulder Creek by Wedgewood Weddings, and Boulder absolutely showed off for them! The creek was rushing right behind their private vows and portraits, the ceremony arch was dripping in peach and blush florals, and the whole day glowed in the prettiest pastel palette I’ve seen all year! Custom monogrammed fans with their wedding date at every seat, pink fan table numbers tucked into the centerpieces, orchids and dahlias everywhere, and a bride sipping a martini with a fan in hand like she invented summer! Zach’s three piece suit was the perfect soft contrast to Brynja’s lace gown, and honestly these two never stopped smiling!

Rachael & Patrick kicked off their two day wedding celebration at Jedediah Hawkins Inn in Jamesport, NY with about 30 of their closest people, and it was the kind of evening this place was made for! A restored 1863 Victorian estate surrounded by 22 acres of gardens and farmland, a rustic barn with exposed beams, the wisteria breezeway, golden hour light pouring across the North Fork. Day two was a larger celebration closer to the city, but there was something about this intimate first night on the North Fork that felt super romantic!

Being a North Fork wedding photographer means I get to work at some pretty incredible venues, and Jedediah Hawkins Inn is one I’d love to keep coming back to! If you’re looking for a Long Island barn wedding venue that feels private and personal without sacrificing any of the beauty, this is it 🩵

NYC family photographer and this is one of those sessions I won’t forget! I photographed Cait & Ben’s wedding at in Montauk ten years ago this summer, and last week I was back with them in Tribeca photographing their family of four. Char and Henry stole the show obviously, and watching Cait and Ben together a whole decade later as a family was one of those full circle moments that reminds me why I do this.

Tribeca’s cobblestone streets and golden afternoon light gave us that effortless editorial New York feel without even trying. This is my favorite thing about being a photographer who’s been doing this for a while: you don’t just document one day, you get to document many seasons of life.

Carly & Will brought custom Stetson hats to their Golden, Colorado engagement shoot with their initials and wedding date branded on the felt 🪶

These two are getting married this August in Vail and if their engagement session is any indication, that wedding is going to be incredible ☀️

Golden gave us the perfect backdrop with its rolling foothills, warm light, and that small town mountain energy that makes Colorado feel like Colorado. Can’t wait to be their Vail wedding photographer this summer 🌲

NYC Micro Wedding at The Ned NoMad | A Unique New York Wedding Venue for Small Weddings 🤍

Sam & Scott celebrated their NYC micro wedding at The Ned NoMad with just 14 of their closest family members. It was one of the coldest days of the year in the city, but we leaned fully into the indoor magic and The Ned delivered the most gorgeous, warm, light filled backdrops! Once the sun set, the entire library glowed with candlelight and it felt impossibly romantic.

Their sweet ceremony took place in the library, surrounded by rich wood tones and historic character. Afterward, they hosted a candlelit dinner in the same space, transforming it into the most intimate private reception. With an immediate family only guest list of 14, the day felt intentional, relaxed, and incredibly meaningful.

The Ned NoMad, a sister property to the iconic Soho House, is such a beautiful option for couples searching for New York wedding venues for small weddings. The layered interiors, dramatic architectural details, and light flooded rooms make it one of the most unique NYC wedding locations for a micro wedding or elopement.

Because it was so cold outside, we photographed everything indoors and it was not a limitation at all. Every corner of this venue works beautifully for NYC micro wedding photography.

Rehearsal dinner dreams in Montauk, New York with our sweet couple, Keara and Matt. I absolutely love photographing the night before, it’s when the wedding weekend truly begins to unfold. The first hugs and hellos as friends and family arrive, intimate and unhurried moments, and that quiet anticipation ahead of the wedding day. Rehearsal dinners are also the perfect chance to warm up in front of the camera and fully enjoy those incredible outfits, hair, and makeup you put so much care into. A beautiful, meaningful start to a Montauk wedding weekend ☀️
