One of my favorite things about being a photographer is working with other creatives. I’ve had the honor of working on set with Mattie, an incredibly talented hair dresser.
We were working together at the site update photoshoot for Hairstory. The multiple-day photoshoot was filled with an energy that I hope to replicate every time I'm in the studio–it was truly that magical. Mattie was a huge part of that sense of vibrancy. When she arrived, she instantly explained her visions and knew exactly how to execute them, all while not missing a single detail.
It's shoots like that which make me reflect on how grateful I am to work with such talented and like-minded individuals. The photoshoots at Hairstory are unmatchable.
Last week, Mattie and I traveled to Palm Spring for Hairbrained Fest. Naturally, I had to sneak away for a bit to snag a few shots of Mattie in that strong desert heat.
