In December I worked with and at the to photograph and highlight some of their grantees who are collectively fighting against poverty.
Based in Queens, Robin Hood Mobility LABs partner seek to create community-centered solutions and opportunities that lift Flushing families and individuals out of poverty. The Collaborative, co-founded and led by the Chinese-American Planning Council , Asian Americans for Equality , Child Center of NY , MinKwon Center for Community Action , Queens Public Library , and the River Fund .
1) Mitchel Wu, Marilla Li and Emma Wong lead with a mission: to break the barriers of poverty and create pathways to opportunity.
2) offers a comprehensive range of free social and legal services related to immigration status, housing status, health insurance, and public benefits. They provide services in Korean and Chinese free of charge.

4) Daniel Nalladurai and Helena Kincaid-Nalladurai, filmmakers of “The Cost of Living” documentary, shed light on a New York City crisis—the rising cost of living and its devastating impact on hardworking families.
5) Gabriel Hisugan, Program Manager at , has dedicated his career to breaking the cycle of poverty by investing in New York City’s youth.
6) Yang Zeng, Director of the with her colleagues Ebru Yenal and Jeffery Lambert. From free ESL classes that help newcomers adapt to life in the city, to homework help for children and teens, to technology classes that equip adults with modern skills.
