He is super smart, silly, curious and cuddly!

Who else is ready to say BYE to 2020 and HELLO to 2021?! 🥳

Last year started with a bang for me - literally! I spent New Year’s Day 2020 in the hospital having my appendix removed 🤕 Little did I know that was just a precursor of what was to come!

2020 has somehow managed to simultaneously fly and crawl by, thankfully filled with many more ups than downs:

• Launching my nautical portraits - photographing clients on their beautiful boats both here in FL as well as Suttons Bay, Michigan (many more to come in 2021!) ⛵️

• Booking incredible clients to digitally archive their precious family photographs, which I absolutely love and feel honored doing 🥰 and was a perfect project during quarantine!

• Photographing SO MANY amazing new families here in Florida! 📸♥️

Truly, I feel so lucky to attract the kindest, happiest, and FUN clients. This year has been one for the record books, with all the crazy stuff happening in the world. To witness such joy from you all - and be able to photograph it - has kept me happy (and mostly sane!) throughout.

Cheers to a fresh new year! I’m so looking forward to what’s to come in 2021 - hopefully heaps of happiness and health for all!

A true Florida beach baby!

Serena LOVED the beach, practicing her newly acquired skill of walking on the baby soft sand. She showed no fear walking right into the waves towards the end of our photo session, with an adorably huge smile on her face!

I loved photographing this incredible family once again at Pass-a-Grille Beach recently - who wants to see more of this cutie and her big sisters?

Everyone who knows me knows that I absolutely LOVE babies! Photographing sweet tiny newborns and their families makes me so happy.

My first newborn session post-quarantine, it felt just as familiar and fun, despite having to take all necessary precautions due to the Covid pandemic (I wore my mask the ENTIRE time – and only arrived after making sure my temperature and all Aidan’s family members' temperatures were normal, and asked Aidan’s mom and dad to move/adjust him instead of doing it myself). A new little human, being so welcomed and adored by his family and photographed by me, creating classic images of this special time 🙂

Did you know I am a certified sailor?
I fell in love with sailing as a kid at summer camp, hopping on a boat at any opportunity for years, and finally did a course and got certified right in NYC, on the Hudson!

Sailing is thrilling and peaceful at the same time. Recently I’ve added a new direction in my photography, taking on client lifestyle portrait sessions on their boats!!

There are so many activities that we feel define who we are as individuals and families, yet when most clients hire me to photograph them, we end up taking photos in a park or on the beach (which don’t get me wrong – I LOOVE). I really am excited to capture my nautical clients in action on their boats in their element, doing what they love!

This quarantine has been the hardest on the kids, wouldn’t you agree? They’ve been cooped up indoors, unable to go to school or play with friends.

Luckily, the Rhinard sisters have had each other, and get along so well together! This adorable trio was so fun to photograph, along with their sweet mom and dad :)

High school seniors had a pretty unexpected ending to their time at school this year. Proms and graduations canceled and no last day of school celebrations, not to mention the stress of a world wide pandemic!

Alex took this all in stride and showed me in her poised and composed way that these seniors of 2020 are ready to take on the world! I admired Alex’s effortless grace and kindness, and her calmness under pressure (literally, as there was a large protest loudly happening less than 1/4 mile away downtown, with helicopters circling low above us and police putting on their riot gear steps away from us!).
