The Knicks won and everything is feeling hopeful. Let’s keep the momentum going! There are 3.5 days of school left for these kids and we made the decision to use the summer to make memories. These two will be spending a lot of time together. They have a typical brother/sister relationship, certainly with their ups and downs but they have and will always be each others first true friend. We love our city and it is only better with the NYC Ferry 💙

Every single day in my journal I’d write about having a podcast. I’d dream about transforming my studio into a place I meet with people who have inspired me over the years.
Today I had the great honor of spending time with my longtime friend, We were giddy and nervous and had a ball. I cannot wait to get to editing our conversation and just knowing it’s episode 1 of what’s to come! I feel in my bones this is a fun fork in the road and I feel like I’m floating.

Some families don’t need to be reminded of how sacred time is. The love the parents share sets the tone for their entire being. It is understood that the pockets of childhood magic are fleeting.
I’ve had the unique honor of having a front seat to documenting a child witness the passage of time. I feel and see the changes just as much as their own parents do.
Year after year. The walls of their home are covered with framed photos we’ve made as an solid team; from their at-home newborn, to strolling along Shore Rd and dancing on the highest hills of our zip code. Together we keep their memories safe. Capsules of time waiting for to be revisited when needed.
Thank you Ariel and Tim. I’ve enjoyed documenting your family through the years 💕 All I can hope is that the photos and videos we’ve made together, help your children to remember the memories they don’t ever want to forget. Until next time…

I love getting to know you… so here’s 5 fun things about me:

1. Second of five kids, and always the family photographer. 🇬🇷🇺🇸 That’s me on the far right, with the most prized possession of my childhood: my Fisher-Price camera.

2. In high school, I was senior class president and had the honor of being crowned homecoming queen (shocking, I know!) Currently helping to plan our 30th reunion and looking forward to it.

3. My college was ranked the #1 party school while I was there. Luckily I found my focus in the yearbook club on campus. We photographed SUNY Albany in a true-to-life documentary style, all on B&W film. As Editor-in-Chief of the Torch 2000 yearbook my passion for storytelling was ignited and took me on a wild career in the newspaper industry.

4. My childhood dream was to be a comedian. I did give it a try and I still dream about it.

5. My husband and I met at a wedding in September 2014. We were married just a few months later and had a “lovefest” celebration in my parent’s backyard. Tom Liddy has been the greatest blessing in my life. I tell our kids they hit the Daddy lottery, and they know it.

When this wonderful couple first reached out, their hope was to find a photographer to grow alongside their family. I was fortunate to document their love story from maternity and eventually to meeting their sweet twins. The journey to parenthood is full of whimsy and wonder and I am truly honored when I am asked.

To first witness a couple so in love with each other as they wait to meet their babies. Then to see them with a whole new appreciation for each other as they work as a team parenting, cozy at home.

This is the work I choose to focus on. It is not a hobby for me but a service I provide with my heart and soul. Important to note I am completely drained after a newborn session. I never schedule anything afterwards knowing full well I pour every bit of myself into being present with you.
