The gratitude I have for travel goes back to my childhood, creating magical worlds and exploring the landscape of Virginia with my sister who during our late teenage years, introduced me to the beauty of Wong Kar-Wai films. Going to China felt like movies coming to life and the culture, people, food, pandas, parks, fast trains, biking and hiking made a surreal trip. I am so thankful for my son’s High School Mandarin teacher that made this trip possible! Thank you Mr. Liang and Real Asia for asking me to photograph this incredible experience ♥️ 🇨🇳 💫
