new work for , featured in this month’s October 2022 issue

for this shoot, i had traveled to London during spring 2021 which another peak covid wave was happening in the UK. there were still a laundry list of entry & quarantine requirements in order to come and i distinctly remember i got not only 1, but 2 customs officers (lucky me…) deeply questioning my purpose for visiting since I clearly wasn’t a citizen or visiting family or a partner. luckily neither stopped me (or could stop me…? 😆🙏🏻) from photographing Jasmine’s beautiful flat.

excited to share this project a year later, which shows Jasmine’s inspiration from the Union Jack + highlights a number of makers & female artists.
