As I prepare to return to Curry College for Homecoming Weekend and my 10-year reunion, I’ve been reflecting on some incredible memories from my time on campus.
One of the most memorable was hearing Damien Echols speak and having the chance to meet him afterward. After spending nearly 18 years on death row before being released in 2011, his story of resilience, perseverance, and the pursuit of justice left a lasting impact on me.
Reading his memoir Life After Death gave me an even deeper understanding of his experience. Moments like this remind me that some of the most valuable lessons in college happen outside the classroom.
Looking forward to returning to Curry and celebrating the people, experiences, and memories that made those years so special.
