A few shots from the Q&A following the screening of at with director Stephen Maing and two subjects from this POWERFUL film documenting the NYPD 12's battle with the NYPD to properly end its quota system. The film explores a deep underbelly of the police force, highlighting the in-house punishment officers who don't "do as they're told" face.

If you haven't seen the film, I believe it's available on Hulu, and couldn't be more worth a watch and even a rewatch if the last time you saw it was at true false in 2018!

Had to put out this roll in light of gearing up for their '21 fest. These pictures were taken in 2018 when I went to the festival with my documentary class and professor, Eddie Martinez. The experience was truly transformative on every level, from my conversation with that drastically changed the film I was currently making, to watching the opening shot of The Family, to 4AM waffles!

These are some pictures I was able to capture during the parade, can't wait to post some more tomorrow!
