How to Do the Orton Effect for Photography & Videography.

The Orton Effect adds a dreamy, glowing look to your shots. Perfect for landscapes, portraits, and cinematic scenes.

Here’s how to do it:
1️⃣ Duplicate your layer or clip.
2️⃣ Blur the top layer using Gaussian Blur (around 10–30 depending on your image).
3️⃣ Lower the opacity or change the blend mode to Screen or Overlay.
4️⃣ Fine-tune brightness and contrast until you get that soft, glowing look.
