Summer in the city for

we bought these tickets 6 months and tried to sell them when he announced a DC trip 2 days after we purchased. Unfortunately no one bought them so here we are! 🤪😅

I’ll take it as once in a lifetime event…truth is I’m still mad at him for his behavior last week. Character > talent.

We’ve grilled a lot of food
We’ve hosted gatherings and small groups
We’ve danced in the kitchen
We’ve made lots of lychee martinis
We’ve laughed
We’ve watched a lot of shows and live sports
We had our first Christmas/NYE together here
We’ve hosted our family and friends
Grateful for our home.

My best friend turned 40.

It’s so easy to celebrate him. He’s easy to love. Easy to hang with. Easy to talk to.

He has spent half of his life giving to others…so I wanted to make sure he got to do everything he wanted for this big bday.

Beach naps, yummy Italian pasta, drinks with friends, time in the pool with family and so much more.

I’m crazy about u excited to celebrate the next 40 years with you. Thank u for choosing me, it’s an honor and privilege to be ur wife.

We started Mike’s bday celebration early. His bday is next week (we’ll be in Miami!) but we thought we’d have an 80’s movie costume party here in VA.
