There is an extraordinary amount of suffering going on in the world tonight. From desperate people wanting to evacuate Afghanistan and being told that they cannot, to people in Louisiana enduring hurricane Ida, to flood victims in Mississippi and fire victims in California, and many more situations than we can even name, it is heartbreaking to think of the terror and pain some people are going through.
I believe in the power of prayer, and for those of you who believe in it too I hope you will join me in a prayer for the sufferers.
Dear God,
We know You know who they are.
Those who cower in terror, trying to protect their loved ones and fearing for their lives.
Those who are crying out and those who are praying,
those who are helpless
And those who suffer in silence.
Work miracles for all of them, dear God.
Bring comfort to those who so need it tonight. Send Your angels to bring them Peace
And please use me if I can help.
