A year ago, siblings, sisters, wardrobe stylists! They based the family outfit colors on the plaid dress. I know, we want you looking great, happy together, and connecting in a family portrait. But I also fuss over wardrobe. I provide guidance for my family clients about selecting a palette for their sessions, and this is a favorite example = see slide 2!

Last month I received a call to photograph an elopement. I love sharing the secret and witnessing such romance. There is a quiet glamour to a couple eloping, and I love creating portraits for them. Another favorite nephew. At any family gathering, I pull the kids aside to document the moment. I run a steady stream of chatter about the light, their pose, and directing their expression. Inevitably it leads to some giggles while they do what they want and then what I want followed by “Oh, send me that one!” And then I get to post MY favorite 🙂 All in the name of freezing time.

Lovely high school senior Cynthia’s session was just in time for her yearbook deadline. We went to one of her favorite spots in Highmount, NY. Locals may recognize this beautiful (closed for ages) place.

3/3 “Angel #17, Ruby” I photographed .mccollister every year for the first 14 years of her life. This was the one time I used my costume. Sometimes we were in NYC and sometimes Los Angeles. Her mom is the best (thank you ) I will always remember our first session, when she was only three months old, we were cozy in their apartment for her very first snowfall.
