I call this "Shot Stacking".

This is a skill that we teach inside of our Luxury Filmmaker Course. The idea here is to capture wide medium and close-up shots.

You'll want to have your subject repeat the same natural motion three times in a row.

In this case I had her spread her arms out on the railing and move her head left to right. While she was doing that I was rotating around her to make it look like we had multiple cameras rolling.

All of this was captured on a 50mm lens at f2.8 on a tripod.

it only takes 2-3 cuts to transform your Films. 🎥🎬

HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS 📽️ SHOT...

1) Turn off all of the lights in the room

2) Use a 50mm lense f2.8

3) Find one window with natural light shining 🌞 through and position your subject angled slightly towards you and slightly toward the window

4) If there are any other windows in the room, close the blinds or curtains. The key is to only use 1 light source. You don't want a lot of light to fill the room. The more darkness the better.
