the best way to explore a new city, in my opinion, is packing just one camera, a few rolls of film, and walk EVERYWHERE until you simply cannot anymore (ty for process & scans 🫶🏽)

I’ve been thinking about how, since moving back home to NYC, there’s been a shift within me. A quiet confidence grew, the kind that finally lets ideas leave my head and enter the world without hesitation.

For a long time, I called these personal projects. A friend recently scolded me (lovingly) to stop doing that. She was right.

This is my art. This is my craft.

You’ve watched “Ente Katha”, “Echoes of Us”, and most recently “The Wonder Years” come to life during a heightened season of unpredictability, heaviness, and fear.

None of these bodies of work are meant to be solutions. They’re offerings. Small beacons of light. Reminders of togetherness, joy, and lifting one another up when the world feels heavy.

“The Wonder Years” holds a special place in my heart. Over the past few months I’ve attempted outreach, sent emails, knocked on doors and while the journey has been quiet and at times difficult, I’m choosing to take my next step out loud.

So here’s a public ask:

If you know of or are someone who could help shine a light on this body of work and initiative, through platforms, publications, exhibitions, or spaces where this work could continue to live and grow, I would be so, so grateful.

This work exists because I believe in something beautiful about humanity. And I believe it grows best when we do it together 🤍
