Visiting Cole-fornia

This past weekend was a much needed break full of love and celebration for Cole's, one my best friends, wedding. California always fills my lungs with air and my heart with hope. Been going through a lot of darkness lately, so I took a little time to myself to sit, ponder, pray, swim, and shoot away. Here's what I saw and felt.

And then there is my oasis, my sanctuary, my backyard; the pristine Central Park. Oh how I love you and can never get enough of you. An entire lifetime is never enough time in life to spend with you. Farewell sweet summer!

Summer in the City

This season is a vibe in this town. This summer, in particular, has been a challenge. From the soggy weekends and stressors to the activities and blissful memories made, the summer of 2026 was filled with many highs and lows. I'll miss you, as you are gone too soon, again. But for now, Wi out!

September 2020, A Month on the Colorado

This time six years ago, I was living on a boat, rafting through the Grand Canyon. I was permanently changed by this experience and consider it one of the coolest things I have ever done. My rag tag river family showed me a connection and kindness for myself that I'd not known. I am trying hard to continue the good work that is simply finding myself and loving myself and feeling centered. Oh the places, people, and things I have learned. So much since then, so much more to come.

Happy birthday to my incredible mother. Without you, I wouldn't be much and I definitely wouldn't have been able to see all these places and learn all these things. She has dedicated her life and work to showing us the world through travel. I am eternally grateful for the people and perspectives you have brought me to experience and cherish. Here are some of the places we've been together and some of the things I have learned thanks to you. Can't wait for our next voyage!
