Hiring a mentor changed my life because, well, I really think it saved my life more than anything. I was directionless, broke, and hopeless. I had so much ambition, but every bit of my own efforts without higher education got me nowhere. I honestly don’t know where I would be if I hadn’t found my mentor, . Probably still working in the service industry, barely making enough money to get by. I think about all of the things that I’ve been able to do now that we’re once dreams. If I hadn’t taken that chance on myself, so many of those dreams would’ve been left unlived. Travel is a normal part of my life now. People traveling to work with me is a normal part of my life now. Charging my worth has become my new normal, for the first time in my life. I’ve learned to become someone who looks at a spreadsheet and feels excitement rather than dread. And most of all, I’m doing the thing I got the most pushback for my entire life, and that’s making a living as an artist.
My mentor taught me how to hold myself accountable, know my numbers, value myself, and how to RECEIVE money. That last one is very important. Because you can charge whatever you want, but when you are a young Hispanic college dropout with only a public high school diploma, no ability to hold onto money, and no wealthy upbringings, it’s difficult to believe that any sort of fortune is yours to claim.

For anyone, no matter what field you are in, if a mentor exists, do whatever it takes to find the one that is perfect for you and I promise it will change your life in a way you did not know it was possible.

So to that I’d like to say thank you so much Cat. You have guided me so perfectly throughout my journey as a mentee. I could not imagine my life without you as my teacher and friend. Because of what you taught me, I am the woman I’ve always dreamed of becoming. Because you taught me to live with intention, my dreams become my reality daily, when I decide they do.

The older I get, the more I realize that confidence isn't something you find, but something you practice; something you build.
Every time you speak honestly,
Every time you set a boundary,
Every time you choose yourself,
Every time you stop asking permission to exist, it grows.

I've watched so many women walk into my studio believing they need to become someone else before they're worthy of being seen, but that's never been true.
In my studio, you don't become worthy.
You remember that you already are.
And that's where the transformation begins.

Throwback to this lovely collection we created for .

One day as I was shopping at , this incredible new collection of jewelry behind a glass display caught my eye. I became obsessed!
Every element—from the ornate scarab ring to the delicate gold and gemstone accents—is a work of wearable art. That's why I was SO honored when hired me to create these product images—their style is pure magic!

Our model , beautifully fitted in this corset, was the perfect embodiment of boldness and power that this jewelry represents.

Hey, girl, listen…
Don’t think I don’t see you over there, hiding. Being the first one to say, “I’ll do it!” when someone asks who’ll take the group photo. Or maybe you’re standing in the back somewhere, letting the others be seen because that’s a role you decided wasn’t meant for you, but secretly wish it could be.
You scroll past another beautiful image, admiring but never seeking that kind of visibility for yourself because you’re telling yourself it’s “for the pretty photogenic girlies.”
You reject the compliments.
You don’t want to be remembered.
You don’t feel WORTHY.
Maybe you’re not exactly where you wanted to be. Maybe you don’t have everything you thought you’d have by now, and someone made you feel like you should be ashamed of that.

My love, I just want you to know that you are worthy of being celebrated no matter where you are in life.

Someday, you will be an elderly woman, and you will look back on those moments you finally decided to reclaim your power and give yourself a good life to reflect back on. You will look back and thank younger you for taking care of elderly you. You will never regret stepping out and owning your individuality. You will only regret the opposite.
Give yourself grace for where you are. You are such a warrior and you have overcome so much.
Trust me, it’s beautiful souls like you who carry so much in your heart that create the most powerful masterpieces.

Be kind to yourself and remember who you want to be in this world. You can be her any time you decide to ❤️

Our Autumn 2025 and Spring 2026 Collections have been such beautiful pieces to have in our garden. So grateful for all of those who came through to bring us unique and powerful concepts to bring to life. I always say this, but not only do we get to show you what you're capable of, but you show us what we are capable of too!
