Is an online opening a real thing? St. Veronica's Photography has teamed up with to find out. This Thursday at 6pm we will present an online opening experience for the exhibition featuring Thom Bennett's, "The Other City," inspired by by Michael Allen Zell’s New Orleans noir novel, "Run, Baby, Run.” This event will be streamed on Facebook Live and Instagram Live. Recently, the Ogden Museum acquired this exceptional piece from David Armentor. In his work, Armentor shows his firm belief in the idea of “shoot what you know.” For David, this is the sugar industry in his birthplace of Acadiana, Louisiana. This image, “Smoke Stacks,” shows a factory’s hollow metal smoke-stacks surrounded by the wispy output of the factory.⁣
