I recently had the privilege of shooting for NOTV. NOTV is the New Orleans arm of Destination Network, a Florida based company that offers local television content to New Orleans hotels. It was a fun day of shooting. Preservation Hall and P & J Oyster Company were two of our stops. Gene Sausse, Vice President and General Manager of NOTV, was kind enough to snap some photos of me hard at work.

Often times the quality of a finished edited video is as much a reflection of the professionalism of the client as it is a reflection of the skill and talent of the video production company.
The crew at St. Tammany Economic Development Corporation were great to work with and it shows in this promo.

This was one of the most enjoyable and interesting jobs I have ever done. Shooting on a Push Boat is not something I do everyday. The finished video was shown at a national mariners safety conference to acknowledge the skill and bravery of the crew of the M/V Hallie Merrick for saving a man from drowning and extinguishing a fire on another boat.

I had the pleasure of documenting a few of the speakers at the Second Annual GenFest sponsored by the New Orleans Public Library.

One presenter I found particularly interesting was Mr. Smith.
He brought us into a world that few of us know about with his documentary “A Place Called Desire”.

In short, GenFest is an event where you can learn not only about yourself, but about others as well. And it is our local area and culture. If you want to learn more about what makes us special keep your eyes out for next years GenFest.

When you work for yourself you never know what's around the corner. My client at Equest Farm, Leslie Kramer, asked me to create a mini documentary about her 25 years as the lease holder of the horse stables in New Orleans City Park. It started out as a 5 minute piece then grew to 7 minutes then to 10 minutes. It's a fun 10 minute film about her experiences and the importance of horses in young peoples lives.
Once on the "Short Stories" page scroll down until you see Equest Farm's graphic. Enjoy.

Equest Farm, the popular horse stable in City Park, is hosting its premiere fundraising event, Tails But No Black Tie, early next year, 2025. I am creating a mini-documentary about the history of the stables that will be shown during the gala. Here is a still I pulled from video I shot a couple of days ago. Enjoy!🐴

Here is a really nice piece I produced for WYES-TV. This was one of their "Tricentennial Moments" that featured historic events and places in New Orleans.
