Posing means nothing without a photographer's perspective.
Posing videos on social media are highlighting one huge missing piece. Do you ever notice how after they pose and show the final picture the angle changes?
That's because the pose doesn't matter without the photographer's perspective, the artist's vision, and trained eye.
You can practice posing all day long but without a person behind the lens who sees the best, most flattering, or most impactful angles to shoot from, then your poses don't matter.
Moms: How many times have you practiced poses in the mirror only for your husband, friend, or kid to take a photo from a bad angle and you hate it?
Photographers: How many times have you photographed someone who thinks they are not photogenic but then they see the pictures you take of them and they love them?
That's the magic of photographers 🪄
And what I love is that every photographer brings a different perspective!
So after scrolling TikTok and Instagram Posing reels and practicing your posing go out and find a photographer who can do you justice and who shows you what you want to see in yourself and your family.
