It’s I thought I’d share some photos of me from my journey with cameras.

It is really true that I started young. After this camera I used a 110m.

Then, I switched to 35mm by appropriating my father’s Yashica range finder. This picture is from a trip to my uncle’s in Olean, NY.

This last picture probably looks familiar. It’s from the artist/VIP opening of the 2026 Louisiana Contemporary at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. So much gratitude for being included by Sarah Jones of the Met.

NOPA is soliciting nominations for new voting board members! Are you interested in helping to steer NOPA into an exciting new future and have some photo-based fun in the process? Then this could be the board for you!

As a volunteer board member, your enthusiasm and time are the most important elements required. We are especially looking for folks with fundraising and/or bookkeeping experience. Voting members of the NOPA Board will have the opportunity and responsibility to help shape the direction of the organization — including programming in the gallery space, PhotoNOLA, and weighing in on financial and leadership decisions.

Hard to put into words how I feel this morning.

The reality of knowing I’ve reached a lifelong dream. My photograph hanging in a museum.

The warmth of the greeting from Amy when I signed in at the artist table.

The feeling of seeing my piece first when I stepped off the elevator. See my piece amongst other amazing photographs and other works of art.

Meeting the other artists, the juror, family of artists and so much more.

Much gratitude to my friend Carlos Talbott for the pictures of me with my art.
