One of the sweetest surprises as a photographer is opening my mailbox at Christmas and finding my own work looking back at me. ❤️

There's just something special about seeing the moments I've captured for families become part of their Christmas traditions.

If you've reached out about a session, please don't be discouraged if you receive it!

There's still time to capture a little of this season together!

I have a handful of dates set aside through December for family, maternity, motherhood, and children's portraits.

Most of these openings are for sessions here on our little farm, where the fields, trees, and beautiful evening light make such a lovely backdrop for documenting your family just as you are.

These days don’t feel extraordinary while we’re living them—just chores, animals, dirty feet, and one more swing before dark.

But these are the little things we’ll miss.

Just a little home on our homestead of the little things.

Sometimes I take my camera outside with absolutely no plan. No coordinating wardrobe, no perfect light, no session to direct. Just our ordinary.

And somehow, those are the photographs that remind me most why I picked up a camera in the first place.

Just home. Just childhood. Just the little pieces of life I never want to forget.

This one is about connection — not just standing in a field smiling at my camera. We’ll spend the evening doing something simple together: bare feet in the grass, bubbles, a little picnic, favorite books, or even planting something together to take home.
