Meet Taylor, #22.

Standing at 6'1" and having just recently turned 13, Taylor is an athlete who immediately commands attention when she steps onto the court. Whether she was playing middle blocker or outside hitter, her size, athleticism, and presence made her a challenge for any opponent.

But Taylor is much more than her height. She had a fantastic season for United 14 Black, competing with confidence, intensity, and the kind of determination that makes a difference every time she touches the court.

There's an undeniable presence about her game that can intimidate even the toughest opponents, and it's exciting to think about what the future holds as she continues to develop her skills.

Wishing Taylor the very best this fall as she takes the court for Hazel Green High School. I have no doubt she's just getting started!

Meet Lainey, #18.

As the libero for United 14 Black, Lainey was the anchor of the back row all season long. She seemed to be everywhere on the court—flying after balls, making incredible saves, and frustrating opposing hitters by digging out shots that looked destined for the floor.

What I love most about watching her play is the energy she brings to every match. She plays hard, celebrates every point, supports her teammates, and approaches the game with a confidence and enthusiasm that's contagious.

As her dad, I've had a front-row seat to the countless hours of practice, hard work, and dedication that have helped shape the player she is today. Watching her compete and grow this season has made me incredibly proud.

Keep working hard, munchkin. I can't wait to see you wearing the Blue and Gold for Buckhorn High School this fall!

Meet Kennedy, #17.

Every great offense starts with a great setter, and Kennedy was exactly that for United 14 Black this season. Her passion for the game showed every time she stepped on the court, and she had a knack for putting her teammates in position to succeed.

Opponents always had to stay on their toes because Kennedy's sneaky setter dumps had a way of catching everyone by surprise—and they were always fun to watch!

It was a pleasure watching her compete and grow this season. Wishing Kennedy the best of luck as she takes the court for New Hope JV this fall!

Meet Norah, #11.

This season, Norah took on a new challenge by transitioning to outside hitter—and you never would have known it was her first year in the role. She embraced the position, worked hard, and played with the confidence of someone who had been doing it for years.

It was a pleasure watching her grow throughout the season and capturing moments like this along the way.

Best of luck to Norah as she heads into her fall season with Huntsville High School. Excited to see all that she accomplishes next!
