A week ago I had the absolute delight of documenting Amanda and Josh’s wedding day at the 𝔒𝔥𝔦𝔬 ℜ𝔢𝔫𝔞𝔦𝔰𝔰𝔞𝔫𝔠𝔢 𝔉𝔢𝔰𝔱𝔦𝔳𝔞𝔩 and it was such a dream! Not only because I just love being able to document wedding days but because these two are such lovely humans and are just so kind and thoughtful and you saw those touches throughout their whole day.

It’s hard after almost 20 years to be surprised but I was stunned when Amanda gave me a beautiful and thoughtful gift to say thank you when I arrived, a first edition of Anne of Ingleside (she remembered we were kindred spirits) and I had to realllllly struggle not to cry. Throughout the day they gave people small gifts to say thank you and everyone was equally as touched. That’s the kind of thoughtful humans they are.

Beyond that though, DAMN THEY LOOKED GOOD. Amanda designed her own dress (!) and I’m OBSESSED with it. Josh’s royal blue ensemble was stunning. The bridal party all looked SO GOOD and I loved the staves that the bridesmaids had instead of bouquets. They looked so cool when they were in the parade to the chapel!

On the blog today is a wedding that will live in my memory forever, mostly because of how lovely Jenn and Ben were but slightly because THEY HAD A QUESO FOUNTAIN.

Yes A QUESO FOUNTAIN. It was glorious and I am still obsessed and I hope more people do this.

Jenn and Ben had a lovely summer wedding that was the PERFECT day with blue skies and low humidity. This summer that has been in tall order as it’s either been raining or super humid.

These two were so easy going all day. Nothing phased them and they just smiled and laughed all day long. Their love was a joy to document.

On the blog today is this wedding that proves that no matter what happens the best thing is that you got to say I Do and the rest is just details.

Kylie and Rhys intended to get married outside at The Barn of Canal Fulton but shortly before their guests were set to arrive to be seated a rainstorm blew in causing everything to quickly be moved inside. It wasn’t the initial vision but it worked and these two still had a lovely ceremony despite the last minute change.

Luckily for us the rain let up just as we were finishing up family portraits and we were able to pop outside for some couple portraits! They were so easy to work with and I am so glad there was a break in the rain for at least this! The light was beautiful so it made me delighted!

My favorite thing from their day is that they took some time to themselves after their ceremony to read private vows to one another. This has been a common trend this year and I think it’s brilliant. Not everyone wants to speak in front of a large crowd and that’s OK!

On Saturday I had the delight of photographing Bobby and Hanna’s wedding and it was SUCH a perfect day! I knew after their fun engagement session that I would love every minute spent with these two (and their families) and I was right!

Luckily the rain held off for when we needed to be outside so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful locations at Parker barn ! Of course we HAD to do some with the spectacular veil that Hanna wore!

I just sent off the gallery for last Saturday’s wedding with T & H and it feels good to have a (small) break until tomorrow’s wedding!

T&H said I do in the Secret Garden at Beech Creek Gardens and it was my first time visiting (and hopefully not the last). What a beautiful place!! After we did a few photos on the trails nearby before head to their reception at another new place to me The Hidden Abbey .

These two were so sweet and easy to work with and made my job easy. Congratulations to you both!

Today on the blog is the October wedding of N&J. When I was gathering the images it made me miss the sound of the crunch of leaves beneath your feet and I cannot wait for fall to be back here again (sorry summer lovers!). Weddings in October are always my favorite and this was definitely one of them!

Last night I had the delight of capturing C&B’s wedding at the Pro Football Hall of Fame and it was such a great day! These two *love* football and I loved how they carried this love in touches throughout their wedding.

We had a lot of worries about the rain - every minute it would go back and forth if it was going to rain or not but thankfully it held off and there were just a few drops so we were able to get photos on the field at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium!
