PRINT. YOUR. PHOTOS.

Look on a bookshelf or open a drawer in my house, and you’ll likely find photo albums. I have albums that I made well over 20 years ago that have moved with me from east coast to the west and back. And my most recent family shoot this past fall- you guessed it, in a photo album on my bookshelf (and also framed all around my home)! So I may be biased, but please print your photos!

This past fall, I was asked to photograph a surprise birthday party at The Benjamin— and with all the children and grandchildren coming together for the celebration, we decided to turn it into a family photo shoot. It was really special. So I was of course thrilled when the family wanted to order archival prints after receiving their digital images.

These archival prints are beautiful. I use a professional lab made up of 5 expert printers, who hand print each and every photograph. And though you can’t tell from this photo, this family ordered extra thick photos with gorgeous texture and colors. So it was only natural for me to hand deliver such a special package… on my way to photograph a wedding dinner at the same exact restaurant!

So whether you have a million photos stuck on your iPhone (like me) or a beautiful professional gallery on your computer, take the time to print those memories. Years down the road it’ll make you smile when you can pull an album off the shelf and relive these precious moments.

So much to post! This fall season was absolutely insane— in the very best way! I’m just coming out of my editing cocoon and couldn’t be more excited to start sharing glimpses into all of the wonderful family sessions I had. I say this a lot, but stay tuned!
