Not your average senior session. 🎮🖤

Because senior photos don’t always have to be fields, sunsets, and a nice outfit. Sometimes they look like arcade games, neon lights, questionable high scores, and a whole lot of personality. 😂

I’m a BIG believer that your senior photos should feel like you, the things you love, the places you actually hang out, and the little pieces of your personality that make this chapter yours.

For just a little while, we traded modern-day chaos for 1950s summer dreams, vintage curls, dainty flowers, and the kind of slow afternoon where the biggest thing on your agenda was deciding whether to ride your bicycle home or sit beneath the shade of a tree a little longer.

There’s something about creating images like these that I absolutely love. Not just taking pretty pictures, but creating an entire little world and letting someone step inside it.

This session felt like a photograph pulled straight from a dusty old family album except we got to create the memories ourselves.

🌾 A Little Moment in the Golden Sunrise 🌅

There’s something about golden mornings that makes everything feel a little more like a story.

The light is a little softer.
The world is quieter but waking up.
And suddenly, an ordinary pasture, an old fence, and a woman in a gown feel like they belong in the pages of an old novel. ✨

This is exactly why I love what I do.

I don’t just want to take pretty pictures. I want to create little pieces of a story, images that make you remember how the morning felt, how the sun hit your skin, how the grass moved beneath your feet, and how for just a moment, everything felt beautifully still.

Give me an old fence, warm sunlight, a little bit of wind, and a wonderful human… and I will happily disappear into my little photography world. 😂📸

Because sometimes the magic isn’t in having the perfect location.

Sometimes, you just have to slow down long enough to notice the beauty that’s already there. 🤎🌾

Today we started the first of three completely creative sessions with a beautiful soul who traveled more than four hours to create with me.

That fact alone absolutely blows my mind.

There is something so special about being trusted with someone’s creativity and even more special when they give me the freedom to run wild with it. 🌿🧺

🔥 Creative Freedom is AMAZING 🔥

You know those clients that photographers dream about? The ones who show up with an idea, trust you completely, and basically say, “Here’s the vision… now go be weird and make magic”? 😂

Yeah. I got one of those. 🥹

This absolute gem is driving FOUR HOURS to come work with me and is even turning it into a whole vacation just for these photos. FOUR. HOURS. Y’all, I can barely drive four hours without needing snacks, a bathroom break, and questioning every life choice I’ve ever made. 😂

And the best part? She has given me complete creative freedom. No “can we make it Pinterest-perfect?” Just complete trust in me to take her ideas, run with them, and create something that feels like her.

And THAT is my favorite kind of creative process!

I get to dream. I get to experiment. I get to tell a story. I get to make art instead of just taking pictures. We’re doing 4 completely different shoots while she’s here, and let’s just say they are about to be EPIC!

So yes… I am currently over here absolutely GIDDY about this one. 😂🖤

I feel like I just got handed the keys to the creative playground and someone said, “Have fun. Don’t burn it down.”

No promises. 😂

I have found an OLD house that is absolutely begging to be turned into something magical. And for this one, I want to lean ALL the way into the fact that it’s old, worn, and “forgotten”.

I’m looking for ONE model for a completely FREE session where we’ll create a combination of:

🥀 The House That Time Forgot
Think beautiful, vintage, romantic, and completely out of place in an aging house. Gorgeous dresses, peeling brick, forgotten rooms, and that feeling of stepping into another time.

🩸 The 1950s Housewife Gone Wrong
A twisted take on the picture-perfect housewife. Vintage styling, red lipstick, an old dress or apron, setting a table, interacting with the old kitchen, and creating images that feel beautiful at first glance… but just a little unsettling the longer you look.

I’m envisioning moody, cinematic, vintage, eerie, editorial images, so not your typical “pretty portrait session.” Let’s keep that in mind when showing interest please!!

No session fee. No hidden cost. I’m creating this purely because I (and the house owner) have a vision we NEED to bring to life before this house is turned into a timeless AirBNB.

I’m looking for someone who is comfortable modeling, taking direction, and getting a little weird with me, creatively of course. 😂
