After filming a wedding all day over an hour away, I still had one more stop to make—Manic On Tuesday’s FINAL show. There was no way I wasn’t stopping in to show these guys some love. And of course, I couldn’t help but pull out the camera.& ;

To everyone who showed up, sang along, and supported this band—THANK YOU. To every bar and venue that gave them a stage to rock—THANK YOU. And to the guys themselves, for being not only a damn good band, but damn good PEOPLE—THANK YOU!

These guys hired me for a video over the summer, and what stuck with me was that they weren’t even really looking for one. They wanted to give me an opportunity and help my business grow. That says everything about the kind of people they are, and it’s something I won’t forget.

I’m not gonna lie, I’m really going to miss seeing these guys on stage around here. Glad I could catch a little of the final show and give them one more video to remember it by.

Some things you just can’t edit. Some moments are meant to be kept raw, because that’s what makes them so special.

I’ve never been the guy to consider myself “famous” or say I have “fans.” But this woman right here? She’s family.

Deb stopped by open mic tonight to drop off shirts for us, shirts that carry a much deeper meaning than just something to wear.

She’s been there for every Krool Fool show, every nearby Scotty Austin show, and every open mic we play. She’s ALWAYS there, cheering us on and supporting us through it all. From the businesses, to the bands, to every little milestone and success along the way.

And that kind of support means more than words can explain. It’s people like her who remind us why we do what we do.

So, thank you, Deb. Seriously. We see you, we appreciate you, and we love you! ❤️

Time for another Murphy Films shoutout! This one goes to Shane & Kami at Ryders Roadhouse and Grill! 🤘

Aside from The Crow Bar, Ryder’s was the second business to ever book me, for New Year’s heading into 2025. I was still figuring things out, and there were definitely some hiccups along the way. I had a LOT to learn—but these two had a lot to teach, and they kept giving me opportunities to come back, learn, and get better.

A huge part of my work, especially in the beginning, happened at Ryder’s. Their continued support has played a big part in building Murphy Films into what it is today, and I’ll always be thankful for that.

Somewhere along the way, they became family. Honestly, that whole bar is a family. I’ve built friendships and relationships there that I know will last a lifetime, and it means a lot to have a place like that in my corner.

I’ve also watched Shane & Kami pour their heart and soul into their bar—building, changing things, adding new things, and always putting the work in. It’s been an honor to capture pieces of that journey and be part of it alongside them.

And I sure as HELL love their food. Especially that ribeye. 😂

Shane & Kami, thank you for believing in me early on, helping me grow, and continuing to bring me back over and over again. Thank you for the opportunities, the lessons, and the friendships. You two mean a lot to me.

I am honestly speechless and humbled. Since January 1st this year, my videos, posts, and content on this page have gotten over 350,000 views. That is just INSANE. 🤯

I’ve been sitting here trying to put into words how much that means to me. This business is something I pour so much of myself into, and seeing that kind of support makes me stop and realize how far it’s come.

To every person, business, friend, family member, client, and anyone who has supported me—even someone who just stumbled across my page—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Whether you’ve booked me, shared a video, recommended me to someone, or simply told me you love my work, you’ve helped me get here. ❤️

This business has grown quicker than I ever imagined. I know I thank my community all the time, but seriously—THANK YOU. Thank you for trusting me with your businesses, your music, your weddings, and moments you’ll never get back. Getting to capture those things for you is something I don’t take lightly.

This month, and the months leading up to it, I’ve been booked every weekend and working every weekday. And I’ll tell you—I do work my ass off 😂 Most of what I make goes right back into this business. Better gear, learning new things, improving my work, and finding ways to give my clients something even better than before.

There are long days, late nights, and times I’m absolutely exhausted. But then I get a message from someone who loves their video, or I see you guys sharing something I created, and it reminds me why I care so much about this.

I put in the work, but YOU GUYS give me the opportunity to keep doing it. You’re helping me build something I’m incredibly proud of, and I hope you know how grateful I am for that.

The other half of filming that you don’t see 😂

Been spending plenty of time at this desk lately getting wedding videos and other projects put together. A lot of footage to go through, but getting those “we love it!” messages makes it worth it!

Starting something new here on the Murphy Films page—a weekly shoutout to the people and businesses who have been part of this journey! 🙌

For week one, I had to start with Austin from The Crow Bar.

I’ve done a handful of videos for Austin, but this goes way beyond that. He was the first person to give me a shot at this business. At the time, neither of us realized that opportunity would be the one that made me see Murphy Films could become something serious and special.

Sometimes all it takes is one person putting their faith in you before you’ve fully figured it out yourself. Austin did that for me, and I’ll always be thankful for it.

On top of that, he runs an awesome, successful business, puts on some great events, and makes the **best Bloody Marys I’ve had to this day.** 😂🍹

Austin, thank you for taking that chance on me, for your support since then, and for being where this whole thing started. It means more than you know.
