I arrived later than planned. Traffic and a stop for coffee for them granted us all a few extra breaths (and another bottle) before our time together. Walking into their home felt like being invited in to their haven, with every small detail dreamt up and sculpted by their hearts and hands. So much work was done as they planted the seeds in hopes of this new chapter. We laughed and shared emotional stories with each other, shared pictures, took breaks, listened to music, and chatted our way through the afternoon. The entire experience glowed with awe, love, peace, relief and gratitude for sweet Ayla’s arrival home. What a gift it is to be a witness to such a tender season of life. Thank you, Alyx and Denton! It was a treasure!

Each set for these sessions is completely hand made — from the whimsical witch set to the playful pumpkin bucket wall, the spooky bat wall, and the sweet-as-candy “Trick or Treat” wall. Every detail is crafted with love (and a little bit of magic) to bring your Halloween spirit to life.
Props and costumes pictured will be available for use, so all you need to bring is your smile (or your best spooky face!). These sessions are perfect for kids, adults, pets, and families — anyone who loves a little Halloween fun.

You’ll choose between two spellbinding options:

Simple and sweet milestone session for this sweet baby girl! Believe it or not, these were done in the clients’ home! This little one had just finished up a nap and eating as i was setting the space up. She was happy and well-rested through family photos and her cake smash. Then she was straight into the bath and back in her pajamas ready for a snuggle before i even left their home. All of the comfort and ease of staying in your own space, with all of the look of a studio session.
