I have switched over to a “pay what you can” method and this has been great for ensuring everyone can receive photos, no matter what your budget is!

I’ve been receiving a few questions on how it works. For clarification you can send me a message with the type of photos you’re interested in and inspiration photos. I like to be honest in my experience and see if I’m able to perfectly capture the content you’re looking for. Within that same message, send me what your budget allows for!

To be transparent I’m not able to accommodate free photos at this time. Pay what you can still implies needing to pay….I spend my personal time capturing the photos (time I could be spending at my other job), editing the photos (with professional editing software that I purchased), driving to the location and back (gas, vehicle mileage, wear/tear, and maintenance), purchasing SD cards and other equipment for the pictures (even purchasing new lenses for a specific look you want achieved), personal time researching and selecting locations for shooting (Wi-Fi, internet charges, and private access to online photography groups). Thank you for understanding! 💕

I really am doing everything I can to accommodate every budget, but it also has to be a fair trade. I’ve been creating packages based on your budget. Sometimes this includes a shorter time frame for the session, less professional edits, a location closer to my home, or other compromises we can work together to find.

I’ve also received several messages from people asking to pay with goods and services. I’ve never thought about that being an option before, but if you are a business owner or have the authority to exchange goods or professional services in exchange for photos, I am open to something like that as well - sounds fun!
