Amy Hicks Photography Professional photographer who loves people! Based out of Fredericksburg, Tx, and will travel! I left home, and eloped with my husband when I was almost 19.

My sentimental heart has longed for quite some time, to have had my own picturesque wedding; so much so, that I even catch myself now daydreaming about a small vow renewal ceremony with family and close friends gathered around. Our vows were exchanged in a small white walled courtroom with a Justice of the Peace, none of my family there, and a handful of quick pictures snapped by my new father in

law. I believe my past has shaped why photographing weddings is so very near and dear to my heart. My heart cannot help but beat with great excitement, while photographing another couple's wedding. My heart finds true joy in giving others the gift of beautifully heartfelt images on their wedding day, and for all of the rest of their years to come. It is with my whole heart that I give, when being of service to my couples on their sacred and once in a lifetime day.

I haven’t posted since…

last summer. Life threw a curveball, and I needed a break navigate it all. We are still trying to make it to home base, and just trusting God’s direction along the way. I’m excited to share a few pictures from our fun trip last summer, and client’s pictures along the way. Spring has already sprung here, and is the best reminder of new beginnings, and eternal life God has gifted us through Jesus, who is our daily anchor. What do you love about Spring? We had another trip of a lifetime with TONS of driving along the way! 🥰
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We drove all the way from Texas to Pennsylvania to see family, & then up even further to Niagara Falls where we could see Canada on the other side of the water! We saw as many sweet family members as we could see, which was ALOT, and made some beautifully sweet memories along the way! We stopped in Nashville on the way up, and took the girls to Dollywood! Mental note: I am now too old for wooden rollercoasters, ugh! 😮‍💨🤯😮‍💨 It was sooo good for my heart to see more of God’s nature , and beauty all around! I came across the sweetest godly woman at a coffee shop in Elkton, Virgina, who encouraged my heart greatly, and who wrote me a verse on my coffee cup and ministered to my heart! What coffee shop does that?! Only @

I met the sweetest couple this past Spring! Gorgeous Tera wanted bluebonnets in her engagement pictures, and our local wildflower season was sadly hardly colorful at all! I wasn’t going to let that stop her from her dream coming true for her engagement pictures! I found the best spot in the Hill Country and we made it happen, as I love to travel! Thanks to parks for all of your help, and kindness with making my client’s day memorable! Happy and blessed engagement to Tera and Kyle! I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for you both! I am praying for God’s blessings for you both!
