I don’t photograph families for my business, but motherhood is what shaped the way I see love through my lens.

Every time I take a photo of my own children, I feel this quiet ache that reminds me time is moving even when I’m not ready for it. One day she won’t fit in my arms like this. One day she won’t squeal when she catches my eye. One day I’ll look back on these images and realize how much life was happening in the in-between moments.

Documenting my kids growing up has changed how I photograph weddings.
It has softened me.
It has taught me to notice the details that seem small but mean everything: the hand squeeze, the breath before a vow, the way two people look at each other when they think no one is watching.

Because I know someday they will look back the same way I look at these photos of my babies, searching for the feeling instead of the pose.

Photography isn’t just about remembering what a moment looked like.
It’s about remembering what it felt like.

Motherhood has given me the ability to see love in its most real and fleeting form. That is the heart I bring into every wedding I photograph.

And it all started right here with them. 🤍

🌿✨ Big News + Life Update ✨🌿

First of all, I missed y’all so much. So here is the announcement- After months of reflection, design tweaks, late nights, and a whole lot of heart, I am so excited to officially share the new look and direction of Woven Light Co.- formerly Kelsie Norman Photography.

I’ve rebranded, built a brand new website that I’m so proud of, and decided to focus solely on wedding photography, capturing love stories in their truest, most timeless form. It’s been months in the making, and while I’m still fine-tuning details and SEO, it finally feels like the perfect reflection of where my heart is.

On a personal note, this year has been one of the hardest of my life. After almost losing my daughter a few months ago due to a gastric volvulus and then losing my grandpa shortly before, everything shifted for me. Those moments changed my perspective and reminded me how precious time and love truly are.

So, I’m coming back more determined than ever to shine light through my work again, to capture moments that matter, and to build something beautiful from the hard seasons.

Behind the scenes, I’ve also been working on my therapy license because healing and creativity will always go hand in hand for me, and I start my Doctorate in Behavioral Health program this January. I’ve been earning additional certifications in therapy as well, and that part of my journey is still moving forward. Also, some a few other business endeavors, stay tuned for those.

To all my wonderful clients and supporters,

After much reflection, I’ve decided to step away from photography as a business. This has been an incredible journey, and I am so grateful for every client, connection, and memory created along the way.

Right now, my focus is shifting to my growing family, as we prepare to welcome a new little one soon, and to my career as a therapist. Having recently graduated with my master’s degree, I am looking forward to pursuing this new chapter when the time is right.

While I’m not planning to continue photography as a business at this time, who knows what the future may hold? For now, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have supported me and made this experience so meaningful.
