Big News, Dear Friends...
After seasons of dreaming, weaving, and walking the wild road, I’m gently shifting from Comfort Odyssey to my new home:
Threaded Hollow Farm

This page has held beautiful memories, stories, and friendships, and I’m endlessly grateful for every step we’ve taken together here. But it’s time to settle into a new rhythm—one rooted deeper in the land, the lens, and the legacy I’m building.

Threaded Hollow is where my creative heart now lives.
It’s where the looms hum, the wildlife wanders, and the photos still catch the hush between breaths.

I am proud to have been raised on "The Rock"! This great community has shaped who I am. Reflecting on my journey, I remember the mentors, friendships, work, and daily experiences that defined my early childhood through college. Our community consistently comes together to support those in need, especially in times of crisis. From the Olso landslide, which claimed 43 local lives in March 2014, to the Ledgewood landslide in 2013, we have faced challenges head-on. We have weathered the Bellingham explosion in June 1999, the eruption of Mount St. Helens in May 1980, and the 6.8 earthquake in February 2001. We have endured the Windstorm of December 14-15, 2006, the Great Coastal Gale in 2007, winter storms in 2008, and the Tunnel Creek avalanche in 2012, as well as the Port Orchard tornado in 2018. Together, we tackled the Labor Day fires in 2020, the flooding of the Island and neighboring counties in November 2021, and the rare bomb cyclone in November 2024. Throughout these trials, we have lost pilots, crew members, and many local heroes, friends, and family. What stands out is the resilience of this community—my home. In every crisis, we rally together, providing unwavering support and love. Whether responding to Hurricane Helene or sending fire crews to combat the California fires, we demonstrate what it means to be a true community. I am proud to be a part of the Whidbey Island community, and that pride will always be with me!
