Creative block isn’t always about being out of ideas. Sometimes… it’s about being too full of everyone else’s. 😬

It’s mildly the bane of my existence, so what did I do? 🤔 Wrote a whole blog post about it (link in bio). Partly because I needed to say it out loud for the fellow creatives in the back, and partly because I think a lot of us are in that same place and just haven’t had anyone say it yet.

These images are a bit of a rework from a session I shot last August. Coming back to them with fresh eyes reminded me things can continue to evolve. Did I love the initial edits and color grade? Sure! Did I want to tweak it and add a little more “ugh” 😤? Also, sure!

Both things can be true. Like the Kierkegaard debate in . 🤣

So excited to have my work showcasing ’ spotlight this year.

Teresa welcomed us into her home for her branding session earlier this year and we had an absolutely amazing time watching her shine in her element! She is sweet and sassy, and those are only a couple of things that make her fantastic!

Teresa brings so much intention, joy, and experience to every project and it was a pleasure to bring that same energy to her portrait session. Congratulations, Teresa!! 🤍

This annual night of joy supports the life-saving work of the Vanderbilt Comprehensive Care Clinic, serving those living with HIV & AIDS in Nashville. ❤️ This was my third year photographing and fourth year volunteering and I’m already looking forward to next year!
