In light of Meta's recent changes and reluctance to fairly compete in an open marketplace, I will be going dark for at least a week while I consider my future with its apps. Its founder's recent misogynistic statements and its blatant anti-LGBTQIA+ moderation policies are more than troubling (and yes, it's always been there, but this is a new low). If Meta wants to be the next Twitter, a new TruthSocial, Facebook and Instagram are not the places for me.

I have the same handle on BlueSky and YouTube.

I have kept a lot of my personal struggles to myself because I know there is already so much hurt and struggles in the world that others endure. I have always tried so hard to not burden others when I have needed help, but for the first time in longer than I can remember, I am asking for help. I need help paying for service dog training for my puppy. I have silently suffered with epilepsy for years; and medication is no longer controlling it. Please consider helping by donating even a small amount or sharing with others. I have lived with this burden in silence for years, and I now am asking for help if you are able.
