MAYA - BELMONT ‘26 🎓💙❤️

grads will always have a soft spot in my work.
i don’t get to photograph many grads these days, as so many of my people are in different seasons now. so when maya asked me to take these, i was secretly so excited to get to do the thing that started my photography journey to begin with 🤭

as much as i love documenting wedding days and all the big, unfolding chapters, there’s something really special about this in-between season, right before everything shifts.

maya brought the best energy to this session!! confident, fun, and so easy to photograph. we laughed the whole time, and i just loved celebrating her and everything she’s accomplished at belmont 💙❤️

i know we’re still a couple weeks away, but congrats maya! u did the dang thing 😚😚🎓

the most perfect centennial park proposal 🤍🕊️💍

it was an absolute pleasure capturing this moment for dillon + brooklynn last saturday in nashville. these two make my job so easy - they are absolutely STUNNING + so so head over heels for one another. i had the most fun time getting to know them + wandering around centennial together. such lovely people inside and out & i cannot wait to see them bloom in their engagement season 🌱 cheers to the future doughertys! 🥂

slow mornings like this one ⛅️💍

there’s no right or wrong way to spend your wedding morning. whether it’s surrounded by friends, sharing quiet moments alone, playing music, sipping coffee + mimosas, dancing around, reading vows, etc etc, what matters most is creating space to be present before the day begins to unfold.

my biggest advice for your day is to give yourself time to breathe, soak it all in, and ease into each moment without feeling rushed.

and most importantly — DONT spend the morning being the coordinator. If you have a planner or coordinator, let them lead.

if you don’t have a planner or coordinator, make sure to over-communicate with all your people before the wedding day. Assign a few trusted people specific tasks, share the timeline in advance, and make sure everyone knows where they need to be.

Setting expectations beforehand means fewer questions for you and more space to enjoy the morning. it truly sets the tone of your entire day. set yourself up to make it special!! 💌❤️

your bridal party photos don’t have to feel stiff or overly posed — the best ones feel like you, just surrounded by your favorite people.

with sydney & jared, we focused on movement and real interaction instead of perfect posing. letting everyone hype them up, giving prompts, and creating space for moments to actually happen. that’s where the magic is!!!

your bridal party isn’t just there to look good, they’re part of your story. your photos should feel like that. 😚

also this group’s energy??? unmatched 🙌

if you’re planning your wedding, trust your people and give your timeline a little breathing room. a good photographer will guide moments, not just poses, and it makes all the difference.

hiiiii!!! been seeing some new faces around here lately so i just wanted to pop in and show you mine!! if you don’t know me, im chloe, a nashville based photographer who is so so lucky to get to do this as a job! 🍀 i’ve recently went through a little rebrand and am absolutely loving life lately. my photography style is true to color, true to you, meaning my goal for every person in front of my camera is to feel truly SEEN!

i’m a sucker for a good black & white + a thoughtful crop.

I’ve been getting this question a lot lately — “Do you deliver black & white photos too?”
The answer is YES. I looove a good b&w moment.

When I’m editing your gallery, I always include a mix of true-to-color images and some intentional black & whites. Not every photo needs it, but sometimes removing the color brings the emotion, light, and details to life in a way that color just can’t.

So while your gallery won’t be fully black & white, you can absolutely expect a handful of timeless b&w edits in there bc i simply can’t resist 🤍🖤
