Hello beautiful people. I've been away from the computer busy with classes this summer, and just returned from a brief visit to upstate NY to see family. While there I was hit with inspiration by the art at the Corning Glass Museum.
Some of my greatest inspiration comes from being surrounded by art and artists, so this was definitely good for my creative soul! I had a lot of fun photographing the glassblowing demonstrations and wandering through the galleries looking at all of the incredible glasswork.
And, because apparently I am incapable of visiting anywhere without finding a mushroom, I was especially excited to discover a blown-glass mushroom. 🍄😂 Naturally, it had to be photographed.
Here are a few of my favorite shots from the visit. It was a wonderful little side trip—and exactly the kind of creative inspiration I needed after spending so much of the summer buried in schoolwork.
Stay tuned for further inspiration (the nature kind) from my trip!
I hope you enjoy them 🥰
