There’s something incredibly special about watching a kid step in front of my camera and seeing them realize just how amazing they really are. ❤️

For me, this has never just been about taking pictures.

It’s about reminding these kids that they matter. Their hard work matters. Their moments matter. And they deserve to have those moments remembered.

Photographing over the past few years has been nothing short of a true blessing and an honor. I’m incredibly thankful for every student, parent, director, coach, teacher, and family who has trusted me with a small piece of their story. Being allowed to capture these moments in their lives is something I will never take for granted.

But the truth is, my love for supporting kids has never been limited by a school name, a jersey, or whether my own children attend there.

If there’s a kid who deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and proud of what they’ve accomplished, I want to be there to capture it.

I’m thankful for the schools that have opened their doors to me, the families who have trusted me, and every student who has stood in front of my camera and allowed me to tell a little piece of their story.

Because one day, these photos won’t just be pictures.

They’ll be memories.

And if I can help a kid look back years from now and remember how incredible they were in this moment, then I’ve done exactly what I set out to do.

Under the lights, on the field, before the first whistle — it’s bigger than football. It’s pride. It’s sacrifice. It’s representing something bigger than yourself.

📸 WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IN A PRIVATE “Academic Year” PICTURE DAY?

With Pewitt CISD choosing to continue with Lifetouch Photography Services for school pictures this year, I’ve had several parents ask whether there might be another option for families who would rather have something a little more personal — and a little more high quality.

Due to all the contact and interest expressed from parents, Dark Hearts Media is considering hosting a PRIVATE “Academic Year” PICTURE DAY at a local location near Naples.

For $20 per child, each student would receive:

📸 3 different poses
💻 Digital images delivered to the family
🖼️ Optional prints available for purchase
✨ A more personalized experience than the typical school picture day

This would NOT be affiliated with the school. It would simply be an opportunity for parents who want professional, school-style portraits without having to rely solely on the traditional school picture process.

I also want to be completely transparent about one important detail:

Unfortunately, photos taken through Dark Hearts Media would not be permitted in the Pewitt yearbook, due to the school’s policy. This would simply be an alternate option for those parents who wish to not have LifeTouch take their child’s photos OR wish to have their child’s photo taken in addition to what the school provides.

The photos would still belong to you to enjoy, print, share, frame, post, or use however you choose.

Before I set anything up, I need to know if there’s actually enough interest to make this worthwhile.
