I’m so excited to add to the experience of booking with me.

Whether you’re local or visiting the area for vacation photos, this resource helps pull everything together. Styled in the Wild⁠ has created an incredible styling guide filled with outfit inspiration, color palettes, coordinating pieces for the whole family, and direct shopping links that make planning so much easier.

I’ve been sending it out to my currently booked clients over the last few days, and the feedback has been amazing so far. It’s been such a helpful tool for busy moms who want beautiful, coordinated outfits without spending hours searching online.

When planning your session, think beyond the day of the photos.

Think about where these images will live in your home.

Your location, outfits, and colors all play a role in how your photos feel once they’re hanging on your wall. A beach session with soft neutrals may fit perfectly in a coastal home, while a wooded location with richer tones might complement a different style.

700 miles for 30 hours in New York.

Being a mom and business owner means trips like this take a little more planning these days. Between schedules, kids, and a flight itinerary that made absolutely no sense, I’m pretty sure I spent more time traveling than I did at my destination.

But when someone you love asks you to capture an important moment in their life, you go.

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting a front row seat to some of life’s biggest moments, and this was one I wouldn’t have missed for anything.

This is more important than you might think.

You need to be able to chase little ones, pick them up, kneel, squat, and maybe even airplane them into the waves.

And don’t forget about the wind—it has a mind of its own at the beach. If your little one gives you the sweetest kiss but you’re busy holding down your dress, that moment may never happen naturally in front of the camera.

Choose something that lets you move comfortably so you can focus on making memories, not managing your outfit.

The beach is always a favorite, and I totally understand why.

But after this session, I think bopping around Market Common might be fighting for that number two spot. So much variety, so much charm, and no sand in my car.
