My Review of “Paradise Falls, A Christmas Story” )2024) at The Universal Film Festival Kansas City, Kansas.

Fellow Thespians and crew! Wow! Tonight was the second time I have seen the film in English. It is truly magnificent on the Big Screen. The colors of the film, the high altitude shots of the canyon and the waterfall and the edge of the cliff. The little donkey and pasture and the other Christmas cutaways were just so natural and appealing. Tori & Byron really had that sweet chemistry, that first time Love feeling as a new emotion between the two. Their connection together slowly weaves it way through the show until the kiss we have all been waiting for is delivered. I thought the film had great dramatic and comedic moments! Another Dramedy from CafeCinema! It’s a timeless film. Something about the film shot in the fall gives better film colors from cloudy days, and the shooting on rainy days keeps the scenes different and fresh.
I truly enjoyed watching!

Nice recliner sets. This is a small festival. Although they have about 24 movies, I do not think they have a huge festival loving fan base. But the people that run the festival could not be nicer! Let’s hope we can win an award here! Or maybe more than one award. Some of these films can seem like a long television show. A really good film is less talkie, talkie and more visual. Manu & Zeke really worked well here. The camera angles & locations kept the film moving forward . Plus you could see the stunning landscape. They really did a good job with shot composition and scene transitions. There is not one boring minute in that film. And EVERYONE is soooooo effortlessly good looking. This work is truly magical!! film

“Paradise Falls: A Christmas Story” is a very sweet but strong Stor...

Last month our Costa Rican Production Company was notified that our film “Paradise Falls, A Christmas Story” had been accepted into the Universal Film Festival in Kansas City. We barely had enough time to Re-Master the footage onto a drive that would play on their projectors. Tonight I watched the film for only the second time. The film looked terrific. Plus I was interviewed by KMBC Channel 9. Awards are Friday Night!
