Big-time pride for the highway 81/Canadian Valley area right now 👏⚾️🥎

Shoutout to my alma mater, the Calumet Chieftains, for punching their ticket back to the state tournament! Also proud of my hometown Union City Tigers for making their return as well. Much respect to the Okarche Warriors and Dover Longhorns for earning their spots too — this area knows how to play ball, no doubt about it.

And I’ve got to recognize a special group of young ladies who’ve battled through a lot this past year and still found their way to the Class 3A Slow Pitch Softball State Tournament. Wishing nothing but the best and sending prayers to the Minco Lady Bulldogs — go finish what you started 💪🙏

Baseball is about to start again , it’s my favorite time of the year . Old school throwback of my playing days . I used to be skinny ! lol .

The thing that is great about team sports is I may not remember what day it is or where my keys are but I can tell you who my third baseman was in 1993 . Btw I’m #8 and always was because of my idol growing up Mr . Cal Ripken .
