This trip is by far my favorite. I was able to watch people from different ethnicities. Just enjoy this beautiful location. In group dancing, others share food, and others explore this location.

It's just beautiful seeing people get along with each other. Stuff like this is what we need more!

I've been trying something new to keep myself busy and not think about my illness.

I've been having a hard time photographing these little black garden ants (Lasius niger), also known as the common black ants.

I think it's because of the lighting, so I need to invest in a flash.

Today, while working in the yard, I came across a little ladybug. It was already gone, but I decided to bring it inside to take some photos. I'm still learning about this type of photography, so I hope you like the result!

I used a Nikon camera, Micron extension tubes, and a 35mm lens, and set the shutter speed to 13 sec,
ISO to 500, and aperture to f11.

Only males call, and they are trying to attract females. Males have special structures on their undersides called tymbals. Repeated contraction and relaxation of the tymbal make the distinctive sound.
