I’ve been asked a few times week what my fall photo booking schedule is! I will forever love photography, but I’m navigating boundaries within it for my sanity, especially in the fall 🤪 (and am praising the Lord that He has grown this once ‘little hobby’ to this point 🤍)

I’ve decided to move to mini days only this fall and currently have SIX days of mini’s scheduled! My mini sessions are 30 minutes, which gives your family plenty of space as needed to not feel rushed through your pics.

Some photos from the first location of Lana’s senior photos! I loveee doing cap + gowns with my high school seniors and am so glad Lana chose to do some at her school!

Also, Facebook reminded me this week that I graduated high school five years ago, and I texted my mom that, to which she replied, “And now you are living your best life!” Take out the drowning in editing, and yes, yes I am living my best life 🥳🤍

It’s Friday, but I’m still thinking about last weekend when these two got MARRIED!!!
It was the sweetest day celebrating their love + covenant. And, without a camera in hand but by her side 🥹 I love these two and love any chance I can get them in front of my camera!

The Nolan Family —

I love family photos and how unique each family I photograph is, but I especially love new families 🤍The Nolan’s were so much fun to photograph and so sweet to watch together! We took these photos for Beau’s 1 year birthday, and I just have to do another post for his cake smash pictures to have their own spot on the feed, so just wait for more cuteness 😍

Came across these sweet pics this week and realized I hadn’t shared any photos from Heath + Karly’s session back in November! We found this hidden field, and it was sooo dreamy. Photographing them was so fun and gave me the creative boost I needed in the middle of fall crazy haze 😍

I don’t like social media, and if you watched my stories earlier this week, I tried posting this, and Instagram decided not to. 🙃 Social media has never been “marketing” but simply a place to share the photos I took. I still feel that way, which is why I’m trying to figure out how much time to devote to this little corner of my photo world. I cannot tell you how thankful I am that 95% of my sessions are from word of mouth referrals — it brings me to tears. Each year I pray through photography, asking the Lord to do with it what He wills… the last week, I’ve had 1-2 session inquiries a day, from friends or referrals from friends/sweet clients and have just been overwhelmed in the best way at how the Lord is growing this.

Monday night, I was praying/processing photos in this season. Working in church ministry, busy seasons often collide. But, the Lord so kindly reminded me photography was birthed out of a season of rest — and, the months before He placed me in ministry. Photography at its core is a form of rest for my mind, and the connections I make with those in front of my camera are truly so refreshing. While my calendar may feel full, each session is a reminder of the Lord’s extreme faithfulness to me. I can’t say thank you enough to those who choose me and allow me to capture the different seasons of your life, and to then share me with your friends. 🤍

The Fremmings sweet announcement photos!! It was freezing cold this day, but you would never know! They welcome baby GIRL in July, and I am so honored to get to photograph this new season for them 🩷 and it’s always so fun getting to be invited in to share in their little secret before couples tell the world!!

From Ryan + Nicole’s engagement photos in December!
I met Ryan my first year in college; our small cohort all became quick friends. I was so honored when he called asking me to photograph his proposal to sweet Nicole, and it was incredibly special to get to be a small part of their engagement. And, these two get married next week!!

Also on this day, I photographed TWO proposals… it was crazy and so amazing 🤍 Funny that in my early photo days, I swore I’d never take proposal pics 🤣
