A few weeks ago, hurricane strength winds came through Knox County. The winds were strong enough to delaminate much of the nest on Kilduff Road. Both adults are fine, but they might have lost their clutch. I have seen them doing some rebuilding, but am not sure they will have kids this season. The first photo is “before,” and in the “after” photo you can see the base is intact, but much of the bulk is gone.
