Aviana Aerial Images

Aviana Aerial Images Studio eM, (pronounced M) was created by photographer Mehrdad Zarifkar in early 2010, to provide photography and design services to Eastern Iowa.

Mehrdad learned photography at an early age using his dad’s old 35mm SLR camera. Devoid of any of the photographer aids and luxuries of modern cameras, Mehrdad learned photography the old-fashioned way, learning to expose and compose carefully without the instant feedback and gratification of digital cameras. Although initially determined to be a film user for the rest of his life, the digital age made its way into his camera bag and with it a host of new possibilities.
