Wow!! Our hearts are full! Jianna and Seth's wedding was such a special day!

As a parent, it is wonderful to see how God has brought the perfect husband for both of our daughters! We are so blessed and grateful!!

I had so much fun capturing beauty and taking some detail shots before the wedding!! The tables with all the vintage china plates were definitely a highlight, and the quilt that was sewn and hand quilted by Jianna's Grandma Alma Nissley was a special touch.

Florals: Oh so fun to have a sister-in-law that does the most beautiful florals! A tip for brides -- ask your florist to set aside a few florals for your photographer to use in details shots
Cake: Their cakes are always stunning and oh so delicious. Don't tell Seth and Jianna, but I did take the tiniest piece of cake before I wrapped it up for them. 😂

Congratulations, Sonya and Eric! It was an honor to photograph your wedding! What a beautiful day full of faith and family!

Photographing this wedding was extra fun because I was related to and/or knew so many of the wedding guests, and the ceremony was held in the church in Harrisonburg that I attended growing up!

Before Edith is even here, she's already surrounded by so much love. 🩷

This woodland baby shower was filled with so many sweet moments. A handmade quilt from Grammy, a watercolor ultrasound painted by Leisha's cousin Allison, a beautiful cake by Jianna, stunning florals from Velvet by One Last Avocado Florals, and keepsakes created by family and friends.

These are the moments that deserve to be remembered.

I love capturing the little details and genuine joy that make celebrations like this unforgettable.

Reason number 1,267 why you should take photos with the people you love – one day they won’t be here.

Missing my dad on Father’s Day. But also missing him on the other days too.
When we go fishing
When something needs to be fixed
When we go for coffee
When I want to tell him something, or ask for his advice
When we need some extra prayers
When we eat Sunday lunch together
When I need help with something that he would grumble about not really being necessary
When I want him to build something
When we get together as a family.. and all the other times when he would have been involved in our lives...

We had such a great time celebrating Jianna at her bridal shower!

The florals from Velvet by One Last Avocado Floral Design made the yard look like it was straight out of a magazine! Leisha planned a wonderful party. The cake Georgia made was delicious. The iced coffee from Bridgewater Coffee Co. was a hit. Mom's backyard was the perfect spot. Friends and family being together to celebrate was so much fun!

If you are celebrating something, (this photo was from a session celebrating Chessie's college graduation) I'd love to take photos to capture the moment! Chessie is studying agronomy, so this field with the farm in the background was the perfect spot!
